Our wedding
Vix and I were married on the 19th of October 2003 in Santa Margherita, Italy.
The Wedding went really well, and we would like to thank one and all who came to celebrate with us.
Around forty friends and family attended, and most spent a few days with us in Italy before the big day, which was a lovely was to get to know each others families.
James and Susie were the Best Man and Chief Bridesmaid, they did an amazing job organising everything.
The ceremony took place in a 17th century villa on a small hill in the middle of town.
It had been raining for a day or two before the wedding, but the sun came out for the day and it was a perfect autumn day in the Mediterranean.
My sisters Julie and Helen, and Vix's sister Antonia were Bridesmaids. Orlando, Vix's brother was Usher.
A String Quartet played during the ceremony and a Jazz band at the reception that evening.
The beautiful calligraphy of the place cards was done by Sheila and the costumes for the 'wedding hamsters' were made by Antonia.
