Summer 2004
After our winter in the Caribbean we headed back to Ft Lauderdale for a few weeks. The above picture shows our route across the Atlantic. The trip took us 16 days from Ft Lauderdale to Barcelona and the weather was fairly good for most of the voyage. Once in Europe we spent the summer spent cruising Spain, France and Italy.
Barcelona
Once safely in Barcelona Vix and I took some time to visit a few of the sights that we have never got around to seeing in our visits up to now. Some of the most famous sights in Barcelona are the buildings designed by Antoni Gaudí y Cornet and built around 100 years ago.

The pictures above are of the amazing Sagrada Familia, still under construction after more than 100 years.
Also designed by Gaudí are the Casa Batllo on the left, and the Casa Lleo i Morera below.
June 2004
After Barcelona we headed to the French and Italian Riviera. Along the way we passed some good friends aboard a couple of other yachts and got to spend a little time in San Remo, Italy, which is one of our favourite places in the Med.

San Remo has some of the best pasta restaurants we have found anywhere and it is always a pleasure to have the chance to catch up with old friends over some 'Troffi al Pesto'.

July 2004
During July 04 we visited many of the beautiful ports up and down the coast of France and Italy.
Above - Dream cruises into St Tropez and left - Pegasus and Paraffin raft up together for the night.
To the left is the view overlooking Genoa, Italy
and this is Dream cruising the Amalfi Coast.
August 2004
By August we are now two thirds of the way through the summer season. Things have been going very well and we have visited some of the most beautiful areas of the Mediterranean.
Above are all the toys floating at Positano, to the left is Dream passing by Capri and below the 115 metre private yacht Pelorus at anchor off Capri.
